Candescence (AUS $20)

Candescence is romantic and passionate. The charming chamber music quality that characterised many of the compositions on Tales of a Summer Past is still prevalent, however Nick has delved more deeply into complex orchestral arrangements and developed musical ideas and concepts to a far greater degree. This has certainly not been at the expense of the music’s accessibility. Candescence will appeal to a broad spectrum of music lovers.
Tales of a Summer Past (AUS $20)

The time and care he has taken to craft Tales of a Summer Past is evident from the very first track. It is skilfully orchestrated and tastefully textured. Punctuated by moments of introspectiveness, it exudes positivity. It is a crossover of contemporary classical and World music styles and is far more settled in the one genre than his previous CD. Nick has attempted to re-capture the energy of Tears of the Moon yet produce an album that explores the neo-classical far more deftly than did Eclipse
Eclipse (AUS $20)

Eclipse can best be described as a fusion of musical styles with New Age, contemporary classical and Celtic overtones. Jazz influences add colour to a rich tapestry of wonderful instrumental mood music. Eclipse is an album of highly original music and was Nick's first recording after a 6 year hiatus from playing keyboards or writing music. It's importance in Nick's development as a composer can not be understated and it provided him with considerable exposure at the time of release.
Tears of the Moon (AUS $20)

Tears of the Moon is still regarded by many New Age music lovers as the best album Nick Davis has ever produced. The instrumental ambient compositions are influenced by Celtic melody and rhythm and fashioned with contemporary flair. Evocative, powerful and skilfully crafted, it is a unique collage of styles. With much light and shade and considerable texture, it is an album that grows in stature with every listen.
